The crayfish is a decapod crustacean that lives in warm sea waters. They are predators, their shell is covered with spines. There are no claws, but there are long "whiskers" instead of them. The tails (necks) and pleon of crayfish are usually used for food. Canned or frozen necks can be usually found on the shelves.
