The Commander squid is a cephalopod from the Decapodiformes superorder. It has a streamlined, torpedo-shaped body, which helps it travel at high speed, its tail aiming forward. Its main mode of movement is through releasing jet streams. It grows up to 42-43 cm long and weighs up to 2.2 kg. The Commander squid mostly feeds on large zooplankton and small fish. Squid are sought after all over the world for their agreeable taste, high nutritional value and health benefits.&nbsp;

Coho salmon has a short, thick tail stem. Its body is covered in bright silver scales, hence its American and Japanese name "silver salmon." Its back and top of the head are greenish; in some fish, it has a bluish hue. It sports faint, small black spots on the body and sides above the lateral line. Coho salmon has small teeth. Its body is stocky, and the tail stem is wide and short.

The Pacific cod is 45 to 90 cm long average, occasionally growing as big as 120 cm. Its habitat runs covers the Northern regions of the Pacific Ocean, including the Bering Sea, the Sea of Okhotsk, and the Sea of Japan.  Pacific cod feeds on Alaska pollock, saffron cod, capelin and other fish, as well as shrimp, crabs, worms and octopus.

Alaska pollock is the most abundant species in the cod family. Its body is oblong, spotted or silvery in color, and it has large eyes. Alaska pollock inhabits cold waters (2..9° C). It usually lives at depths of 200-300 m, but may descend to 500-700 m when migrating. During spawning, it enters shallow, 50-100 m deep waters. Its lifespan is 15-18 years. Adult pollocks can weigh up to 5 kg and grow to 1 m, but most fish in schools are 40-45 cm long and weigh up to 1.5 kg. It mainly feeds on plankton.

The most abundant Pacific salmonid. Pink salmon has a slender body covered with fine scales. Its lateral line is well-pronounced. Its caudal fin sports large and small dark spots, and there are small dark spots on its back. The fish's length ranges from 30 cm to 66 cm; most are 42-59 cm long and weigh 1.2-1.4 kg. It prefers feeding on small fish, fry and crustaceans.

Sockeye salmon has silvery-greenish head and back without any spots or dots. It has large scales and a split tail fin. Sockeye salmon spawns at lakes, rivers, and creeks hear springwater outlets. Juvenile fish leave for the sea at the age of 1-3 years. Some of the juveniles do not migrate to the sea, which results in a dwarf form.

Saffron cod is a coldwater demersal fish. Its nursery period falls on summer, taking place at depths of 30-60 m. Saffron cod feeds on crustaceans, worms, caviar and juveniles of other fish species. It is usually 20 to 35 cm long, sometimes growing as big as 50 cm and weighing about a kilogram. Its spawning period comes in winter, and its fecundity ranges from 25 to 210 thousand eggs. The fish migrates to the coast to spawn, with some schools even entering river mouths and lakes.

Chum salmon's body has a silvery color without dark spots or stripes. It has a large mouth, and its caudal fin is spotless, divided into lobes by a well-pronounced notch. It has relatively large scales. Its pectoral, anal, and pelvic fins sport a dark rim along the lower edge.
